Heating up the figure in an oven really helps to get a nice matt finish, which is normally so difficult to achieve with oils. A few days of air drying are needed and I can enhance the contrast.

WIP part 3
Finished off the first layer on the cloak. After a few hours in the oven on low heat I got this result:
